M.O.O.N – Mysterious Orbital Object Non-identifield – Sandrine Elberg
Sandrine Elberg presents us her second self-published book dedicated to her photographic work composed of stellar images that she has been making for several years during these travels and experiments in her darkroom. After her first Cosmic photographic travel diary, Sandrine Elberg reveals M.O.O.O.N. and invites us to a space trip and the discovery of a new Moon. Sandrine Elberg’s books are unique and unclassifiable objects: a journey into the cosmos, appealing to our collective imagination, contemplation and reverie. Through M.O.O.O.N., the artist wanted to pay tribute to Valentina Terechkova, the first female cosmonaut sent into space. The book also marks the 50th anniversary of man’s first step on the Moon on July 21, 1969.
