Alain Keler is a reporter-photographer. When asked, he gives news of the Roma he has been visiting for 10 years, driving his old Skoda.

Two years of work on the Roma that fall in the middle of the news.

Member of the MYOP agency since 2008, Alain Keler was successively photographer at the Sygma agency, then Gamma and co-founder of the Odyssey images agency.

This photojournalist won the Grand Prix Paris Match du photojournalisme in 1986 for his reportage Ethiopia, deportation of Ethiopians from the north to the south, the World Press Photo in 1986 (nature category), the W. Eugene Smith Award in 1997 for his work on minorities in the former communist world, and one of the 3P grants from Yann Arthus Bertrand in 2004 for a project on the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.

On April 23, 2002, while doing a report on Ingrid Betancourt for the magazine Marie-Claire, Alain Keler was detained, then released, by the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia.
