Manol Valtchanov : "Daily Tokyo"

Manol Valtchanov, 33, was born in Bulgaria. It is in Paris that he grew up and went on to study architecture and then photography. In autumn 2016, he travelled to Tokyo and stayed there for a month, discovering this city of inspiration. Daily Tokyo is the result of his late night wanders in a city that never sleeps. From atmospheres, to faces, to life’s simple pleasures, this photographer captures everyday life in the city. “In Tokyo, I find everything I need and am able to disconnect from life. Over there, there is a striking contrast between calmness and turmoil. There is also a form of calm composure that I love.”
