The domestic promenades of Ignacio Iasparra

“My photography is a reaction to what certain places or situations produce in me. Taking a picture is like asking a question, but the resulting image never intends to be an answer. I’m interested in the way light makes visible a certain space, but also in everything that light hides. What attracts me of those places is not exactly what I see, but what can come out of the photographic image, photography has a great potential to transform things. Through photography, I try to get precise images from vague sensations. The image of what is latent, of what shimmers and escapes the image.”
