Monovisions 2019 Awards: share your black and white photographs!

The call for applications for the MonoVisions Awards has been launched. Professionals and amateurs practicing black and white photography, you have until May 12th, 2019 to participate.

Monovisions 2019 Awards: share your black and white photographs!

In order to shed light on the best monochrome photographers in the world and offer them an opportunity to be recognized, the Monochrome Photography Award offers two awards. One prize will be awarded to the best photograph and another to the best series of the year. All black and white photographs, created using traditional or digital methods, are accepted. MonoVisions offers twelve themes to participate: abstract, architecture, conceptual, fine arts, landscape, nature and wildlife, nude, people, photojournalism, portrait, street photography and travel.

Conditions and prizes

The MonoVisions Photography Awards are open to all major photographers, regardless of their nationality. To participate in the contest, you have to create an account and send the files via the form on the website. For the “series” category, a maximum of 8 photographs can be submitted.

The prizes for the winners are:

  • $3000 – Black and White Series of the year
  • $2000 – Black and White Photo of the year
  • Press coverage by partner media

Timeline

To submit photographs to the competition, fees must be provided:
Until January 6, 2019: $25 for the series award and $20 for the photo award.
From January 7, 2019 to May 12, 2019: $30 for the series award and $25 for the photo award.
The winners, elected by a jury of professional photographers, will be announced on July 28th, 2019.
