MuMA Le Havre hosts until January the 19th Still, an exhibition that gathers the two photo series Interiors and Guldnakke, by Danish photographer Trine Søndergaard. The exhibition is a part of a bigger project called « Lumières Nordiques », a set of photographic exhibitions presenting Scandinavian artists all across Normandie, France. Still is a dialogue between the two photo series, shot in medium-format film, under the silver light of cloudy days. The exhibition also starts with a painting by classic Danish artist Vilhelm Hammershøi, a canvas brought from the collections of the Musée d’Orsay, Paris, and that has strongly inspired Trine Søndergaard’s photography. An exhibition to dive into the particular atmosphere that you would find in northern countries.
